deskclutter
A selection of items on my desk at the time of this code test (and in general, really), featuring loving MSpaint renderings.
Made to test collections. Note that the for data in data.var format is used for a "gallery" like this, and the actual pages use ``page.var``.
earbuds
age of thing: ancient
Description
A pair of earbuds in dubious aesthetic and functional condition. It still emits sound, though.
Additional notes
If it ain’t broke, don’t replace it.
laptop
age of thing: since 2019
Description
Laptop that I’ve had since starting university; my third overall. Still manages to BSOD on me more often than my other two combined. Planned obsolescence, gotta love it.
Additional notes
Maybe I should look into clearing out the fan….
cell phone
age of thing: since 2019ish
Description
Glorified dual-factor-authentication-confirmation machine.
Additional notes
It even comes in handy when websites demand phone numbers sometimes!
stickynote
age of thing: a few days
Description
Sticky notes. Some have become part of the scenery; others are actually relevant but I haven’t gotten rid of them yet.
Additional notes
Oh yeah, I still need to mark that one on the calendar.
WP5540 Digipro Tablet
age of thing: since 2012
Description
A hand-me-down drawing tablet that I’ve had for as long as I’ve been doing digital art. Do they even make these things anymore?
Additional notes
It has a slot where you’re supposed to put the pen when not in use, and a bunch of button-looking guides to swipe shortcuts to various programs. I literally never use either of the above and keep forgetting they exist. The shortcuts probably don’t work without special software anyway. But hey, pen pressure works, good enough for me.
water bottle(s)
age of thing: fresh, hopefully
Description
A hoard of 1–5 water bottles. Stay hydrated!
Additional notes
I swear I either have one with <15% left or like 10 completely full. It is a miracle that they have yet to spill on my computer.
